A shopfitter designs, manufactures and installs the physical interior of a commercial space — shopfronts, counters, display fixtures, fitting rooms, joinery, flooring, lighting and signage. At OLLYWOOD every one of those trades sits in-house, so one team is accountable from survey to handover.
How much does a retail fit-out cost in the UK?
Most small retail fit-outs start around £30,000, mid-size stores typically run £60,000–£150,000, and bespoke retail kiosks start from £45,000 + VAT. Cost is driven by floor area, joinery specification, shopping-centre landlord requirements and out-of-hours working.
Do you work outside Cardiff and Wales?
Yes. We are based in Cardiff Bay and install UK-wide, including Westfield London, Westfield Stratford, Meadowhall and high-street units across England, Wales and Scotland.
How long does a shopfit take?
A typical retail unit takes 3–6 weeks on site after design sign-off, with joinery manufactured in parallel at our workshop. Kiosks and RMUs are usually installed overnight in a single night-shift possession.
